While Love, Actually may be defined as a Christmas tradition now, it never the less depicts love and all its trappings as whimsically, ideally and sometimes even realistically. From the generic boy meets girl romance to the complicated love between a sister and her disabled brother. It’s a little heavier in places than your average Ron com, and all the better for it.
The characters are funny and likeable, the situations are cringe worthy and heartwarming all at once and the finale will give you that warm fuzzy feeling you curse yourself for getting after your fifteenth viewing. Love, Actually isn’t just for Christmas, it’s for all year round.
