I always found I enjoyed Kill Bill 2 far more than its predecessor. Yet it always felt like the first was the more iconic, the yellow leathers, Crazy 88 fight scene etc. But somewhere around Buds part of the story I found myself far more invested this time around. Maybe I’m more of a Western kind of guy than a martial arts movie fan.
Beatrix Kiddo continues her revenge rampage, concluding with her face off against the eponymous Bill. Throw in a few twists, turns and betrayals and you have a solid conclusion to the Bill saga. Personnel favourite moment has to be B punching her way out of a grave to the uplifting sound of Ennio Morricone, perfection.
